Slow to Anger

Listen to "The Exceptional Father" by Greg Sidders, Sunday, 6-24-18

You've probably heard that God is slow to anger, but has His patience with you ever brought you to your knees?

This Sunday at White Pine, we're going to look, not only at God's patience, but at other attributes of His that make His patience all the more wonderful. I hope it will be a truly worshipful experience for you and for those you share it with.

Notes and Discussion Questions The Exceptional Father

The Exceptional Father

Listen to "The Exceptional Father" by Greg Sidders, Sunday, 6-17-18

So I had a choice: To tell you the topic of our Father's Day message, or to promise free bacon to every man in attendance. Maybe it's just me, but that seemed like a no-brainer.

I predict, though, that what the Spirit of God will say to you will linger longer than the aftertaste of bacon. One of the Bible's most exceptional fathers will show us how to live the kind of life that will attract those we love to God, despite society's opposing pull on them. It will give us a lot to, um, chew on.

Transitioning

Listen to "Transitioning" by Josh Sibert, Sunday, 6-10-18

Life is a series of changes: graduation, marriage, a new child, moving, retirement, to name a few. Transitions are an exciting time, but can also be challenging...especially when it comes to trusting and following Jesus.

Whether you are currently in the midst of transitioning into a new phase, or just know that one is bound to come up sooner or later. This Sunday we will be taking steps to ensure that no matter what transitions we go through, we can navigate them in such a way that we grow closer to the One who knows what's next and how to best get there.

Being Holy in the Phone Age

Listen to "Being Holy in the Phone Age" by Greg Sidders, Sunday, 6-3-18

If you are engaging in inappropriate online behavior, I don't have to tell you that it is doing you no good. You already know that.

What you need is practical help in breaking that bad habit. That's exactly what you'll get in this weeks message at White Pine this Sunday.

Loving Your Neighbor in the Phone Age

Listen to "Loving Your Neighbor in the Phone Age" by Greg Sidders, Sunday, 5-27-18

Right now, between you and the neighbor God wants you to love, is your phone. Is it helping you or hindering you in your obedience to the second greatest commandment?

This Sunday, I hope to help you think biblically and practically about how to use your phone to give love away rather than allowing it to make you less loving than you want to be.
