Notes and Discussion Questions - How To Be Wise Beyond Your Years

Notes and Discussion Questions, "How To Be Wise Beyond Your Years" by Greg Sidders

How To Be Wise Beyond Your Years

Listen to "How To Be Wise Beyond Your Years" by Greg Sidders, Sunday, 06-18-17

If a dad were to write a letter to his teenage son, what would he say?

That's essentially what Solomon did when he wrote the Book of Proverbs.  He shared the wisdom God gave him with his son, and anyone else who cared to listen.

This Sunday is Father's Day. What better time to learn from a dad who tried to do it right?  In addition to a father-friendly message, we have a surprise for every dad that (trust me) they're going to love.

One Wish

Listen to "One Wish" by Greg Sidders, Sunday, 06-11-17

Is there any area of your life in which you would hate to be asked, "How's that working for you?"

Of course there is. We all would like to live life more skillfully.

God wants that for us too. That's why He gave us the Book of Proverbs. It's His little instruction book on life, and for the next several weeks we are going to be studying what He has to say about some of the most practical challenges we face. If you want to be wicked smart, don't miss it!

Do To Others As You Would Have Them Do To You

Listen to "Do To Others As You Would Have Them Do To You" by Joe Campbell, Josh Sibert, and Jeremy Potoka, Sunday, 6-4-17

Doing to others as we would have them do to us is a simple command, but not an easy one. There are so many ways to treat others as we would like to be treated, and this Sunday at White Pine we are going to learn three new ways to do it. Joe Campbell, Josh Sibert and Jeremy Potoka will each share with us a specific way to fulfill the Golden Rule, based on Romans 12.

Loving others is how we make Jesus unignorable, so I hope you can listen to learn how to help others find and follow Him.
