Notes and Discussion Questions - Changeless: Thanksgiving Is Not Enough

Notes and Discussion Questions, "Changeless: Thanksgiving Is Not Enough" by Greg Sidders

Changeless: Thanksgiving Is Not Enough

Listen to "Changeless: Thanksgiving Is not Enough" by Greg Sidders, Sunday, 11-20-16

What if you could know that, no matter what changes in your life, you will never lack basic provisions like food, clothing and shelter? What if God promised to give you every necessity every day for the rest of your life?

And what if you were to say to God, "OK, but what do You want in return?"

In the final message of our Changeless series, we find four biblical answers to that question. My hope is that they will lead to a life of thanksgiving that delights the heart of our faithful heavenly Provider.

Notes and Discussion Questions - Changeless: When Bad Things Happen

Notes and Discussion Questions, "Changeless: When Bad Things Happen" by Greg Sidders

Changeless: When Bad Things Happen

Listen to "Changeless: When Bad Things Happen" by Greg Sidders, Sunday, 11-13-16

What changes when life turns dark?

Not God. And not His promises.

That's easy to say in theory. But how do you maintain trust in God and in His word when the circumstances of your life argue that it does no good?

This Sunday at White Pine, we are going to see how two members of our church family responded to trials that would test anybody's faith. My hope and prayer is that God will use their stories to massage His truth into your heart ... and mine.

Notes and Discussion Questions - Changeless: Who Will Win?

Notes and Discussion Questions, "Changeless: Who Will Win?" by Greg Sidders

Changeless: Who Will Win?

Election day is next Tuesday, and the question has changed from Who should win? to Who will win? The future of our country will be determined by the votes of the American people.

Or will it? What if I told you that the winner has already been determined? And what if I could tell you who the winner will be?

This Sunday at White Pine, we'll take a look at the Presidential election from a perspective that has been ignored by the news media, even though it is the most accurate lens through which to observe and interpret what will happen on November 8.
