Why We Need Christian Friends: Romans 16

Listen to, "Why We Need Christian Friends" by Greg Sidders / 03-17-13

I used to sing a worship chorus that included the words, "You're all I want; You're all I've ever needed." And while there have been times when God was all I wanted, there has never been a time when He was all I needed--because He created me to need both vertical and horizontal relationships ... not just intimacy with Him, but also friendships with others.

A Heart Like His: Romans 15:8-33

Listen to, "A Heart Like His" by Greg Sidders from Sunday 03-10-13

If it's true that the mouth speaks out of the overflow of the heart, then what kind of words are spoken by a person who is Christlike at the core?

Listen to the apostle Paul--especially as he dictates chapter 15 of his letter to the Romans--and you'll find out. In this message we're going to look through the words of Paul right into the heart of Jesus. And as we do that, our hearts will become a little more like His.

It's the next step toward the high-quality life that is ours when we become who God made us to be.

United Church of the Opinionated

Listen to, "United Church of the Opinionated" by Greg Sidders
from Sunday 03-05-13

If there's one thing all Christians agree on, it is that we should be unified. Unfortunately, we disagree on just about everything else.
So how can this collection of diverse, opinionated disciples called The Church ever hope to achieve the vision of Jesus--that all of us may be one? The advice that the apostle Paul gives in Romans 14 is as down-to-earth as it gets, and if we will do the few simple things he urges us to do in that chapter, the harmony that results will open the hearts of people we love to the lyrics of God's truth.
